Broken impeller on my 2up

Got a '21 Sea-Doo Spark 2up and it's got about 40 hrs on it. Recently I had the plastic wear rings break twice, thought maybe it's bec of the usual debris. But still I cracked it open and found the impeller was unscrewed from the shaft and chewed up the threads. Not sure what caused that. Thinking of fixing it myself, or will upgrading the impeller and wear ring help?

That's rough for only 40 hours. Man... I believe upgrading to a stainless impeller and ring will definitely hold up better. BUT ALWAYS MAKE SURE the shaft threads (or any other parts for that matter) aren't too far gone before you throw new parts on.
