Ignition Problems?

Took my spark out last weekend, its a 2022 Trixx and everything was running great.....until I tried to kill the engine, pressed the start/stop button like usual, but nothing happened, tried holding it down too, tapping it again, even pulled the key, the engine kept running like nothing changed and that's actually when I got a bit scared, aint even gon lie, Had to stall it manually at the dock to finally shut it down, I had this idea to start and it started back up no problem but same issue, still wouldn't turn off. All the buttons are responsive otherwise, and the display works fine, so I don't think it's a battery or connection issue, who else has any ideas ?

I'll assume the obvious that it's an electric issue, probably the start stop switch. Use a multimeter to test if the switch is good and if you're handy with some tools you can bypass it with another switch just to see if it works. The thing that puzzles me, even with my explanation is that if the switch is fauly, you probably won't be able to start the engine.

Yikes, that would've freaked me out too! Do you think it could be a stuck relay or faulty ECU input for the kill switch circuit? have you checked for any stored fault codes?
