I really effed up...

I'm kind of... dumb. I accidentally left my 2018 Sea-Doo Spark tied to a floating dock and detailed it with silicone spray, so you get it, it's a little slippery. Fast forward, it slipped off into the marsh when I wasn't around and sat through a full tide cycle with the drain plug open. Now it just barely cranks and is showing a check engine light. How can I recover from this? I apologize for the stupidity that I admit was unforeseen. But still looking forward to get all the help I can get from you guys. Thank you so much.

Hey, no worries it happens! First step: drain and change the engine oil and fuel, then check spark plugs and air filter, you'll probably need a good service to avoid lasting damage

Water likely got into the engine or electronics.

Hydrolocking is bad and bends connecting rods, don't ask me how I know. Remove the plugs and start cranking in short bursts to remove the water from the cylinders. Replace everything, oil, filters and plugs. Check if there's water in some fo the electronics where there shouldn't be any. Something like this can be bad news, so don't rush it or take it to a professional

Well thank you all for the insight. Sorry I didn't get back to you quickly but I was able to get by and your help has been a game-changer for me! I left it alone for a couple weeks then brought it to the specialist. It's all good now!
