what tools to take on a trip?

My wife just bought me a brand new Spark Trixx 3up for my birthday

Since the ice is dragging its heels here, I've been getting my gear sorted.

Got all the usual stuff, like safety gear, clipon fenders, dock lines, the whole nine yards.

Now I'm trying to throw together a basic toolkit. I'm planning some overnight trips.

With that in mind, I figured a spare wear ring and the tools to swap it out are a must have.

Anything else I should add? And anyone got any other hot tips on where the safety kit usually placed? Cheers for any advice!

You can use the front bin or the space under your knees for safety gear and dry bags. BRP has a good safety kit that's small and dependable. If you're going solo,a collapsible paddle is super useful, and a tow tap makes towing easier

Why are you prioritizing the wear ring swap for a basic kit, have you had issues before, or just planning ahead in case of shallow water or debris damage on longer trips?

That's smart, but I'd be careful, some counterfeit coins might still pass the magnet test, have you considered combining it with weight and diameter checks for better accuracy?
