How do I restore the color black parts of my 2021 Seadoo Sparks? A pal suggested the heat gun method but it didn't work, or maybe I wasn't doing it right. Anybody else got an idea?

Try out C4 Black Trim Restorer, you can find it on Amazon. It really brought back the color in all of my faded plastic bumpers and lasts about 10 months. It's super simple to apply, just wipe it on and off.

It's a common battle to keep those black plastic parts looking sharp on a PWC and it's frustrating when the usual tricks don't cut it. @SparkWaveRider 's suggestion of C4 Black Trim Restorer is a good one. Many folks swear by those dedicated trim restorers for bringing faded plastics back from the brink.

My own experience with restoring faded trim on older truck parts taught me that some of these coatings really do work wonders where heat guns fall short, as heat can sometimes just make the plastic brittle if not done exactly right. What kind of shape are your black parts in right now? Are they just faded or do they have any deeper scratches or gouges?

If heat didn't work for you, you're definitely not alone. Some plastics can be really stubborn, well I think it's a good thing somehow. But don't lose hope just yet. A good trim restorer could be your best bet, especially if your items are just a little faded and not too scuffed up
